It is suitable for the qualitative analysis of corrosive sulfur in transformer oil. Copper strip corrosion testers are also commonly used to detect transformer oil and its contact with corroded metals. The presence of such harmful corrosive sulfides can lead to corrosion of these metals, with the extent of corrosion depending on factors such as the content, type, time, and temperature of the corrosive substances. Therefore, detecting these undesirable impurities is not a quantitative method but rather a means of identifying harmful substances.
